Reviews
Best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Ingredients were fresh and the taste was excellent. The atmosphere was nice and there were different areas ranging from intimate to open.
We had an excellent experience all around
We came here because of all of the positive reviews, expecting great things. Unfortunately, it was very much not that. The first thing I noticed was how expensive everything was - it reminded me of something a Mexican friend of mine once told me, which was “a real good taco will never cost more than 6 dollars.” I got a mango mojito, which was good, but not 13 dollars good. The food came very quickly, but we quickly noticed some problems with it. The arroz a la mexicana that came with both of our dishes very clearly used frozen peas and carrots and corn and looked like it had been precooked and reheated, based on the crusty texture it had. I got the fajita trio, since I was curious to see how all the different meats for the fajitas were made. The steak and chicken were both very dry and bland, which was unfortunate. The shrimp was tender and had better seasoning, but unfortunately was too salty. Based on how fast the food came out and how hot the plates were, considering this building was once a Bertucci’s, I suspect they are reheating the food in a similar way. This wouldn’t be an issue if the food tasted great, but it was generally bland. The guacamole that came with the fajitas was good, as were the refried beans, but for a combined 25 dollars it was not at all worth it.
The staff were very fast and were quick to give us more chips and salsa, and kept asking if I would like another drink, which makes me think this place is best as a place to go to drink with friends, but not for if you’re looking for a meal. If you specifically love Mexican cocktails, I think it would be worth it. Otherwise, skip.
I read reviews and checked menus. I selected this place because I could select create your own meal. When I pulled into the parking lot, I was unsure, because there’s only one or two cars in the parking and it was almost noon. From the outside, I was thinking this was more of a college hang out, because there was a lot of younger kids in the area. I am from out of town and not familiar with the area. When I walked in and sat down, I was pleasantly surprised. When my food arrived and I started eating, it reminded me of food from New Mexico. Everything was delicious. I thought it was odd that they put coleslaw on their plates. They had corn and cilantro in it, it was delicious. I noticed someone near me order tableside, guacamole, which is also a great option. The service was excellent. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant. They did not disappoint at all. Again, great place to eat!
We actually spotted this place on the way to another restaurant! So we decided to give it a try and was VERY happy with our experience. And the fact that I'm taking the time to even write a review says a lot.
Excellent, festive atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and we happened to show up on mariachi night (Monday) and they were excellent too. They went from table to table, took requests and played two songs at each.
The nachos they bring to the table are among the best I've had.
Food was great! I had the enchiladas with chicken. My girlfriend had a vegetarian quesadilla which I tried and was also excellent.
We finished with the fried ice cream. Also amazing. Perfect for two.
Definitely recommend this place. Great food and prices. Now we have a new place we can make a road trip to visit. Hopefully on mariachi night again!
This place was amazing! Great atmosphere, authentic food, exceptional service. Posters around showed different night life at the restaurant. All the tacos at our table were incredible, chips and salsa were huge plus!
Delicious food, great staff! We didn't wait at all, restaurant is very clean, plenty of seating, plenty of parking. Near a lot of shops in the town center.
We went early afternoon and we were seated in a cozy booth. We didn't wait long for our meal. The food WA delicious and the quality seemed better than other Mexican restaurants. There weren't many customers at the time we went so I can't tell you how loud it gets in here but there is a big open section with tables. Everything was clean and colorful. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
Couldn't have had a better experience here. The food is SO GOOD. Good portions, delicious drinks, great vegan options, and our server was very kind. Highly recommend.
